The Chicago White Sox would like to extend an invitation to all LGLL softball players to celebrate Women’s Equality Day at the ballpark! We welcome student-athletes and their families to join us for a special Women in Sports panel discussion about growing the legacy of Title IX and growing the continued success of women’s sports. You will hear from today’s leading voices in the sports world including: Kim Ng, (the first woman to hold a general manager position for a Major League Baseball team) Abbey Murphy, (NCAA Division I hockey player for the University of Minnesota and current member of the U.S. Women’s National Team) and, Kiki van Zanten (professional soccer player for the Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League). Alyssa Bergamini, White Sox in-game host, will moderate the discussion and highlight their commitment to advancing gender equality in sports.
